Let your assistant install it

Install the Makernice MCP server in the Grok CLI and connect it to my Makernice account. 1. Run: grok mcp add --transport http makernice https://mcp.makernice.com/mcp 2. Ask me to type /mcp, choose makernice and approve the connection in the browser page that opens. Once I confirm, call the makernice get_balance tool in this conversation and tell me my balance and limits. If the makernice tools are not loaded yet, tell me how to reload MCP servers in Grok, then try again. Do not call generate until I ask for a video or image.

  1. Grok CLI: run in your terminal

  2. Start grok, run /mcp, pick makernice and sign in to Makernice in the browser

  3. Grok Bot: send it this address and ask it to add it as an MCP server, then click the card it shows to sign in
