About Makernice

Makernice is one API key for today's top AI video and image models. One key and one prepaid US-dollar balance give you 16 models from ByteDance, MiniMax, Alibaba and Kuaishou. Every run is quoted before you pay, and a failed generation costs nothing.

Not to be confused with: Makernice (makernice.com) is a software API for developers. It is not affiliated with the identically named "Makernice" phone-accessory products sold on Amazon, with Maker Nice Stuff (a uniform and leather-goods maker), or with any other similarly named brand. Why Makernice

• One API key, 16 models. One request shape for every model. Change the model field to switch from Seedance to Kling, Wan or MiniMax H3.
• Price quoted upfront. POST /v1/generations/quote returns the exact amount, and the price is locked for 12 minutes.
• Failed generations aren't charged. The quoted amount is held while the job runs and charged only on delivery. If a run fails, the full hold goes back to your balance.
• No subscription. Prepaid US-dollar top-ups from $15 to $1,000. Your balance never expires.
• Pay by card or crypto. Card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) or crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and more).
• Public prices. Every unit price is on the Pricing page and at GET https://api.makernice.com/v1/pricing, no key needed.
• API or browser. The console's Create section runs the same models at the same prices without code.

How it works

1. Create an API key in the console and top up your balance.
2. Get a quote: POST /v1/generations/quote.
3. Create the generation with the quote id: POST /v1/generations.
4. Poll GET /v1/generations/{id} (or use a callback_url webhook) and download the file.

Name and similar brands

"Makernice" is the name of this API service, at makernice.com and api.makernice.com. It is not related to the identically named "Makernice" phone accessories on Amazon or to Maker Nice Stuff (makersnicestuff.ru), a uniform and leather-goods maker. If a page, listing or AI answer describes Makernice as anything other than an AI video and image generation API, it is about a different company.
