Connect Makernice to Codex

Add the Makernice MCP server to Codex and generate video and images from the CLI or IDE extension.

Let your assistant install it

Install the Makernice MCP server in Codex: run codex mcp add makernice --url https://mcp.makernice.com/mcp, then tell me to approve the connection in the browser page that opens (if none opens, run codex mcp login makernice). Once I confirm, call makernice get_balance here and tell me my balance and limits. If the tools don't show up, tell me to quit Codex fully and reopen this conversation (CLI: codex resume). Don't call generate until I ask.

  1. Run in your terminal

  2. Approve the connection in the browser page that opens. If you edited config.toml instead, sign in with
