Where the trend comes from
First posted October 12, 2026 · Source: TikTok @wdmowski · Recorded October 21, 2026
The name comes from Crazy Frog, the animated character whose 2005 Axel F video shows him riding an invisible motorbike while being chased. The AI trend keeps the invisible ride and the chase but puts real people in the seat instead of a frog. The earliest version we found was posted on TikTok by @wdmowski on 12 October 2026, and its sound spread through thousands of remakes.
Makernice is not affiliated with or endorsed by Crazy Frog or its rights holders. Crazy Frog is used only to name the trend; our videos contain no frog character and no Axel F audio.
