Prompt

Photorealistic cinematic martial-arts action, 15 seconds, 16:9, five shots, live-action film look. Setting: an empty underground subway platform under long fluorescent strip lights; round columns clad in small cream square tiles with a red band at the top and the base; a glossy pale grey floor; a yellow tactile strip along the platform edge; a row of backlit advertising lightboxes on the tiled wall; stairs at the far end. Characters: a young East Asian woman with long, loose, slightly wavy black hair, wearing a fitted off-white tank top, loose wide-leg light-blue jeans and flat black sandals; a man with short dark hair in a dark navy business suit and a white shirt. Both keep the same look in every shot. 0-3s: static wide shot down the platform, a silver train with a red stripe standing on the left track; the woman is hurled into frame and slams back-first into a tiled column; the tiles crack outward around her, a burst of grey dust and chunks of concrete scatter across the floor, and she drops onto her feet against the column, legs wide, hair thrown over her face. 3-6s: slow push-in to a medium shot as the dust drifts; she lifts her head, the hair slides aside, and she glares straight into the lens, breathing hard, cracks branching through the tiles behind her shoulders. 6-8s: wider shot: she sinks into a low, wide combat stance with her arms spread, then bursts forward out of frame, leaving a dust trail, a crater in the column and a web of cracks on the floor; the camera whips after her in a motion blur. 8-12s: further along the platform, handheld side-on tracking shot moving right with them: she trades rapid punches with the man in the suit; he blocks with raised forearms, takes a blow to the body and doubles over, straightens and is driven back toward the platform edge by a flurry of strikes; broken debris lies on the floor behind them. 12-15s: close shot from behind her right shoulder: she holds one arm fully extended at the end of a punch, whips her head round and looks back over her shoulder at the camera with a cold, steady stare, a grey dust smudge across the back of her top; the camera arcs slowly around her as she turns her face back toward the platform and her hair swings across the frame. Even, cool fluorescent light with a faint green cast, realistic skin and fabric, real weight behind every hit, shallow depth of field in the close shots, light film grain. Sound: a heavy crunch of tile and concrete on impact, debris skittering over the floor, her sharp breathing, fast whooshes of fists, dull thuds as blows land, shoes scuffing the floor, the low hum of the station and a tense low percussion pulse; no dialogue. Keep the frame free of on-screen text, captions and watermarks.

Why it's adapted

The creator's paragraph and the posted clip agree on the core: a young woman in a white tank top and blue jeans is slammed back-first into a subway column that cracks and throws debris, she recovers into a stance, charges and fights a man in a dark suit. The clip adds things the paragraph never mentions: a silver train standing at the platform in the opening shot, flat black sandals, a cut to a different stretch of platform for the fight, and a five-second ending in which she holds a punch and looks back at the camera over her shoulder. The fight itself is mostly her landing blows while he blocks and doubles over, with little of the dodging the prompt asks for, and the lighting is even fluorescent rather than gritty. This adaptation follows the clip. The original runs about 20 seconds, but Seedance 2.0 renders at most 15 seconds per request, so the slow recovery push-in and the closing over-the-shoulder shot are each shortened to about three seconds while the impact, the charge and the fight keep close to their real length. It is set to one text-to-video run at 16:9 and 720p; the posted file is 1280×720.

Shot breakdown

Subject
A young woman with long loose black hair in an off-white tank top, wide-leg light-blue jeans and flat black sandals, and a short-haired man in a dark navy suit with a white shirt. The set is a deserted underground platform with cream-tiled columns banded in red, a yellow edge strip and a wall of advertising lightboxes.
Action
Five beats in order: the back-first slam that cracks the column, a slow recovery as she lifts her head and stares down the lens, a low stance followed by an explosive charge, a short exchange of punches that leaves the man doubled over and pushed toward the edge, and a held punch with a backward glance.
Camera
Cuts at 3, 6, 8 and 12 seconds: a locked-off wide for the impact, a push-in to a medium shot, a wider frame for the stance that whip-pans after her, a handheld side-on track for the fight, and a close over-the-shoulder shot that slowly arcs around her.
Style
Live-action realism under flat, cool station lighting with a slight green cast, practical-looking dust and broken tile, believable impact weight and light grain rather than stylised slow motion or neon.
Sound
Crunching tile, skittering debris, sharp breaths, punch whooshes and thuds, scuffing shoes and station hum over a low percussion pulse, with no lines to lip-sync.

Make it yours

  • If the column impact looks weightless, keep the 0-3s beat as written and let it run its full three seconds; trimming it shorter tends to lose the crack spreading and the debris landing.
  • To recast the fighters, change only the Characters line; every beat refers back to the woman and the man in the suit, so the new outfits carry through the whole fight.
  • When the punches blur into a tangle, cut the 8-12s beat down to two or three named strikes, for example a body blow, a block and a final push, which keeps the bodies readable.

FAQ

Can I get the full 20-second version of this fight?

Not in a single run, because Seedance 2.0 generates 4 to 15 seconds per request. Split the scene into two clips, for instance the impact, recovery and charge in the first and the fight plus the over-the-shoulder ending in the second, and paste the same Characters line into both. The image-to-video (i2v) or first-and-last-frame (flf) mode can help the second clip continue from where the first one stops.

Should I render this at 1080p?

Seedance 2.0 offers 720p and 1080p, with 720p as the default and the setting used here. Fast punches and flying debris hold up better at 1080p, so a common approach is to settle the choreography with 720p tests and switch to 1080p for the final take.

Can I make a vertical version for phones?

Yes. Seedance 2.0 text-to-video supports 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16. For 9:16, change the aspect ratio in the first line of the prompt as well as in the settings, and expect the long platform views to tighten around the column and the two fighters.
