How do you switch from Seedance 2.5 to Kling 4.0 in code?

Change model. Both models accept the resolution, duration and aspect_ratio values used below, so nothing else changes.

  {
-   "model": "seedance-2.5",
+   "model": "kling-4.0",
    "mode": "t2v",

    "resolution": "1080p",
    "duration": 10,
    "aspect_ratio": "16:9"
  }

API = "https://api.makernice.com/v1"
H = {"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['MAKERNICE_API_KEY']}"}
job = {"mode": "t2v", "prompt": "A cyclist rides through a crowded night market, neon signs reflecting in puddles, handheld tracking shot.",
       "resolution": "1080p", "duration": 10, "aspect_ratio": "16:9"}

for model in ("seedance-2.5", "kling-4.0"):
    q = requests.post(f"{API}/generations/quote", json={**job, "model": model}, headers=H, timeout=30).json()
    print(model, f"${int(q['amount']) / 1e6:.2f}")   # $6.42 · $2.52

Quoting is free and holds nothing; each quote is locked for 12 minutes. When you move other Seedance 2.5 requests to Kling 4.0, check four things: Kling 4.0 rejects the seed option, any resolution other than 720p or 1080p, ratios outside 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 21:9, and more than 10 reference images. Create the generation with the quote_id and an Idempotency-Key, then poll (quickstart).
