Why it's adapted
The original post runs about 55 seconds, longer than a single Seedance 2.5 request on Makernice, which tops out at 30 seconds. Instead of splitting it, the adapted prompt keeps all eight scenes and gives each a time code inside 30 seconds, turning the two near-identical dad scenes into one reaction beat and a closing dash. The studio-style label became a neutral feature-film description, the 4K wording was dropped because resolution is picked in the request, and fixed outfits were added for the baby and father. The posted 720×1280 file may also have been upscaled after generation, so treat it as a target look, not a resolution. Run as written, it returns one continuous 30-second 9:16 clip with sound.

Shot breakdown
- Subject
- Three original cartoon characters: a worn-out but warm mother with big curly brown hair and a blue floral dress, a round-cheeked baby with big blue eyes in a yellow onesie, and a father in a gray shirt. The mother is in almost every shot, so her description does most of the work of keeping the cast stable.
- Action
- Eight beats of roughly four seconds each: wiping the counter, wrestling the laundry, raiding the fridge, chasing a crawling baby across the rug, rescuing a cup of hot tea, startling dad, a pajama-clad evening by the fridge, and one last dash that ends on her shocked face.
- Camera
- Medium shots that move with her around the kitchen, a low angle for the crawling chase, a tight close-up on the steaming cup and a final push-in on the mother's face. Cuts are implied by the time codes rather than described shot by shot.
- Style
- Stylized 3D animated feature-film look with original character designs: a warm pastel kitchen, soft realistic light, simulated cloth and hair, and exaggerated but readable facial animation that suits slapstick.
- Sound
- A bouncy comedic score with home sounds layered in: washing-machine hum, the fridge door, a clinking cup and baby giggles. Dialogue and captions are ruled out so every joke lands visually.

Make it yours
- Eight beats in 30 seconds leave about four seconds per gag. If scenes feel rushed, drop the evening fridge beat and the tea beat and give the remaining six about five seconds each.
- To make it a solo-dad story, rewrite the character line and the pronouns, then turn the father's reaction beat into a visiting grandmother so the shocked-onlooker gag survives.
- Give the baby a fixed outfit color and repeat it in the character line; small characters drift the most between beats, and a named onesie is an easy anchor.
FAQ
The original video is 55 seconds. How do I get closer to that length?
Each Seedance 2.5 run is capped at 30 seconds (the floor is 4), so a full-length cut takes two runs. The dad beat is a natural break: render morning-to-tea as part one and dad-to-ending as part two, paste the identical character paragraph into both, and edit them together. This page keeps it to one take by giving every scene a time code instead.
The clip has sound anyway, so why does the prompt say no dialogue?
Seedance output on Makernice always carries an audio track, with no option to leave it out. Ruling out dialogue and naming the music and household noises is how you point that track toward slapstick timing rather than speech, which suits a gag told through faces.
What happens if I forget to change the duration setting?
Seedance 2.5 defaults to 5 seconds, so the eight beats would be squeezed into a fraction of the time the time codes expect. Set the duration to 30 to match the 0-30s timeline in the prompt; any value from 4 to 30 works if you trim the beats to fit.
